What's Inside?
Part 1: Guide to Notion
Notion Basics (30 minutes)
This module helps you understand what makes Notion different and how all of its tools fit together. You’ll explore the core features and commands at a high level so Notion feels familiar, not overwhelming; giving you the context you need to use it confidently going forward.
Notion Databases (30 minutes)
This module helps you understand the core components of Notion databases and how they fit together. You’ll explore views, properties, filters, and linked databases at a high level so you can use databases confidently without overcomplicating your system.
Workspace Structure & System Design (1 hour)
This module shows you how a complete productivity system is built from the ground up. Starting from a blank page, you’ll build my Workbench OS: a simple but powerful workspace with tasks, projects, notes, and a calendar that all connect and work together.
Part 2: Guide to Productivity
Prehistoric Productivity (30 minutes)
Modern productivity standards weren’t designed for how humans actually work.
In this module, you’ll learn how productivity has evolved over time, how to unlock a more primal and effective workflow in today’s world, and my exact formula for project prioritisation: the most important productivity skill you can learn. You’ll then implement this way of thinking directly into your Notion system.
Productivity Principles (30 minutes)
This module distils productivity down to the 10 rules that actually matter.
No hacks. No trends. Just clear principles that help you choose the right work, avoid distractions, and make consistent progress. Each principle is paired with practical guidance on how to apply it inside Notion, day to day.
Why you shouldn’t wait ⏱️
👉 “Notion will take weeks to learn”
It doesn’t have to - if you learn the right things first.
This course focuses only on the fundamentals you actually need, so Notion makes sense quickly instead of feeling endless and overwhelming. You’re not learning everything, you’re learning the right things.
👉 “I’ve taken productivity courses before - they didn’t change much”
That’s because most productivity courses focus on doing more, not choosing better.
This course is built around project prioritisation and clear principles, not hacks, routines, or optimisation tricks. Instead of adding more to your plate, it helps you decide what not to work on. The result isn’t busyness: it’s meaningful progress.
👉 “I’m already using your Headquarters template - do I really need this?”
If you’re using my Headquarters template, this course makes it significantly more valuable.
The template is the Productivity System. This course is the Productivity Strategy.
First, you’ll learn Notion’s most important features properly, so the system feels simple instead of overwhelming.
Then, you’ll learn what true productivity actually is and then implement those principles directly into your daily workflow inside of Headquarters.
👉 “What if it’s too complicated for me?”
It’s designed to be the opposite. The course avoids advanced features, unnecessary complexity, and bloated systems. Everything is taught from first principles, step by step, using plain language. If you have no understanding at all you’ll be able to follow along without feeling lost.
